Respecto a agosto de 2024, la poblaci\u00f3n desocupada decreci\u00f3 en 274.000 personas y la TD fue menor en 0,1 puntos porcentuales, detall\u00f3 el Inegi.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>La PEA del octavo mes del a\u00f1o lleg\u00f3 a 61,3 millones de personas de 15 a\u00f1os y m\u00e1s, lo que represent\u00f3 una tasa de participaci\u00f3n de 58,8 % y una poblaci\u00f3n activa menor en 274.000 personas a la de agosto de 2024.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>De la PEA, 40,7 millones de personas estuvieron ocupadas durante agosto, 249.000 menos que en el mismo mes de un a\u00f1o antes.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>Las personas subocupadas, es decir, quienes declararon tener necesidad y disponibilidad para trabajar m\u00e1s horas, fueron 4,2 millones, el 7,1 % de la poblaci\u00f3n ocupada, porcentaje menor al 8 % que se registr\u00f3 en agosto de 2024.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h4><b>Por sectores e informalidad<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>Los trabajadores informales en julio totalizaron 32,6 millones, lo que aument\u00f3 la tasa de informalidad al 54,8%.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>La poblaci\u00f3n ocupada por sector de actividad se distribuy\u00f3 con 43,7 % del total en servicios, en comercio 19,7 %, en manufacturas el 16,8 %; en actividades agropecuarias 10,6 % y en construcci\u00f3n 7,8 %.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>Mientras que en \u2018otras actividades econ\u00f3micas\u2019, que incluyen miner\u00eda, electricidad, agua y suministro de gas, estuvo ocupada el 0,7 %, y otro 0,6 % no especific\u00f3 actividad.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>Por g\u00e9nero, la PEA femenina en agosto fue de 24,3 millones y la masculina de 35,2 millones, con una tasa de participaci\u00f3n de 45,2 % en mujeres en edad de trabajar y de 74,3 % en hombres.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>Las cifras reflejan el comportamiento econ\u00f3mico de M\u00e9xico, que creci\u00f3 0,6 % en el segundo trimestre del a\u00f1o, pese a las alertas de recesi\u00f3n por la guerra comercial desatada por Estados Unidos y tras
