class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height, var(--global--line-height-body));\">M\u00e9xico se posicionar\u00e1 en 2022 en el lugar 28 a nivel mundial en gasto per c\u00e1pita por turismo internacional, seg\u00fan la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial del Turismo (OMT), celebr\u00f3 este domingo el secretario de Turismo mexicano, Miguel Torruco Marqu\u00e9s.<\/p><p style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height, var(--global--line-height-body));\"><br>De acuerdo con datos preliminares de la OMT, M\u00e9xico cerr\u00f3 2022 en la sexta posici\u00f3n en llegadas de turistas internacionales; en el noveno puesto en captaci\u00f3n de divisas, y ahora en el lugar 28 en gasto medio per c\u00e1pita.<\/p><p style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height, var(--global--line-height-body));\"><br>El funcionario mexicano se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el incremento en el gasto medio confirma las proyecciones de la presente Administraci\u00f3n p\u00fablica mexicana, que opt\u00f3 por privilegiar el ingreso de divisas por turismo internacional, e incrementar el gasto per c\u00e1pita, que el n\u00famero de turistas.<\/p><p style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height, var(--global--line-height-body));\"><br>\u201cSe prioriza el incremento de captaci\u00f3n de divisas y el gasto per c\u00e1pita, m\u00e1s que por atraer un mayor volumen de turistas; con el prop\u00f3sito de impulsar la derrama econ\u00f3mica, y que los beneficios permeen hacia las 235 plazas con vocaci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica, en cumplimiento de la instrucci\u00f3n presidencial para hacer del turismo una herramienta de reconciliaci\u00f3n social\u201d, destac\u00f3.<\/p><p style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height, var(--global--line-height-body));\"><br>Seg\u00fan el Ranking del Gasto Per C\u00e1pita 2022 de la OMT, el gasto promedio per c\u00e1pita por turismo internacional en M\u00e9xico ascender\u00eda a 731 d\u00f3lares, superando los 620,4 d\u00f3lares de 2021.<\/p><p style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height, var(--global--line-height-body));\"><br>M\u00e9xico se colocaba en el puesto n\u00famero 40 en gasto per c\u00e1pita en 2018, con un gasto per c\u00e1pita promedio de 545,3 d\u00f3lares, mientras que en 2019 escal\u00f3 al lugar 36, con 545,8 d\u00f3lares.<\/p><p style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height, var(--global--line-height-body));\"><br>En tanto, para 2020, M\u00e9xico s\u00f3lo ascendi\u00f3 un puesto hasta el 36, con un gasto medio per c\u00e1pita de 452,8 d\u00f3lares, seg\u00fan los datos preliminares de la OMT.<\/p><p style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height, var(--global--line-height-body));\"><br>Adem\u00e1s, el secretario Torruco consider\u00f3 acertada la pol\u00edtica de turismo implementada por el Gobierno mexicano de no restringir los vuelos internacionales hacia M\u00e9xico, as\u00ed como todo el manejo y atenci\u00f3n por la pandemia de la covid-19, y el apoyo del sector privado en implementar de forma anticipada todas las medidas sanitarias de prevenci\u00f3n.<\/p><p style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height, var(--global--line-height-body));\"><br>Adem\u00e1s, resalt\u00f3 que la estrategia de vacunaci\u00f3n incidi\u00f3 en que el turismo solo tuviera una ca\u00edda del 46 % en la llegada de turistas internacionales, cuando las grandes potencias que compiten con M\u00e9xico desde la \u00f3ptica econ\u00f3mica, cayeron 86 %.<\/p><p style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height, var(--global--line-height-body));\"><br>El titular de la Secretar\u00eda de Turismo de M\u00e9xico indic\u00f3 que para 2023 la OMT destac\u00f3 que ante el entorno mundial y debido al incremento de precios, se espera que los turistas realicen con mayor frecuencia viajes de corta distancia \u201cy tomen decisiones de viaje con base en la calidad-precio\u201d.<\/p><p style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height, var(--global--line-height-body));\"><br>Finalmente, dijo que al cierre de la Administraci\u00f3n del presidente Andr\u00e9s Manuel L\u00f3pez Obrador, en octubre de 2024, quedar\u00e1n concluidas obras como trenes, aeropuertos, autopistas, productos y atractivos \u201cque consolidar\u00e1n a M\u00e9xico como potencia tur\u00edstica mundial en lo econ\u00f3mico\u201d.<\/p><p style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height, var(--global--line-height-body));\"><br><\/p><p style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height,
