Es un acuerdo que existe, que ya se prob\u00f3 retirar, que lo retiraron y lo tuvieron que volver a incorporar por los impactos que tiene en la econom\u00eda y en los consumidores de Estados Unidos\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 la presidenta durante su conferencia de prensa diaria.<br \/><br \/>Sheinbaum subray\u00f3, no obstante, que el tomate o jitomate nacional va a seguir export\u00e1ndose \u201ca\u00fan con el arancel, porque no tiene sustituto\u201d enfatiz\u00f3.<br \/><br \/>El lunes, el Departamento de Comercio estadounidense anunci\u00f3 que se retirar\u00eda del Acuerdo de Suspensi\u00f3n de la Investigaci\u00f3n Antidumping que hab\u00eda estado vigente durante los \u00faltimos 28 a\u00f1os.<br \/><br \/>Los productores, que coincidieron con las autoridades mexicanas, han considerado la decisi\u00f3n como un retroceso que afecta negativamente a toda la cadena agroalimentaria de Am\u00e9rica del Norte.<br \/><br \/>La presidenta mexicana anticip\u00f3 que la pr\u00f3xima semana su gobierno estar\u00eda en condiciones de anunciar las acciones que se van a desarrollar en conjunto con productores de este producto.<br \/><br \/>\u201cNo quisiera adelantar, pero son en el marco del plan M\u00e9xico y vamos a dar distintas opciones a los productores de jitomate en nuestro pa\u00eds y a seguir peleando en los Estados Unidos. Nosotros recuerden que tenemos una mesa, de aqu\u00ed al primero de agosto, y esperamos llegar a una cuota, incluido el tema del jitomate\u201d, apunt\u00f3 Sheinbaum.<br \/><br \/>Se\u00f1al\u00f3, asimismo, que si el 1 de agosto no se llega a un acuerdo, se tendr\u00e1n que tomar otras acciones, mientras tanto este martes el secretario de Agricultura, Julio Berdegu\u00e9, se reunir\u00e1 con productores para desarrollar opciones tambi\u00e9n con el cierre de la frontera al ganado mexicano.<br \/><br \/>M\u00e9xico abastece nueve de cada 10 tomates que importa EE.UU., lo que equivale al 55 % de su consumo total, seg\u00fan el Consejo Nacional Agropecuario (CNA),<br \/><br \/>El lunes, las secretar\u00edas de Econom\u00eda y Agricultura de M\u00e9xico calificaron la cuota como una decisi\u00f3n \u201cinjusta\u201d y contraria a los intereses de los productores de ambos pa\u00edses, a la vez que defendieron que el terreno que ha ganado el tomate fresco mexicano en EE.UU. se deriva de la calidad del producto y no de pr\u00e1cticas desleales.<br \/><br \/>Adem\u00e1s, se\u00f1alaron que dos de cada tres tomates que se consumen en EE.UU. son cosechados en M\u00e9xico, lo
