Mundial del Comercio (OMC), la nigeriana Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, dijo este mi\u00e9rcoles que las tensiones comerciales entre Estados Unidos y China podr\u00edan provocar una p\u00e9rdida del 7 % del producto interior bruto (PIB) mundial.<br \/><br \/>&#8220;La creaci\u00f3n de dos potenciales bloques comerciales, uno alineado con EE.UU. y otro con China, y algunos pa\u00edses en el medio, afectar\u00e1 demasiado&#8221;, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Okonjo-Iweala en un foro celebrado en el Council on Foreign Relations en Washington. &#8220;Si el mundo se rompe en dos, vamos a perder el 7 % del PIB mundial&#8221;, sentenci\u00f3.<br \/><br \/>La directora de la OMC alert\u00f3 adem\u00e1s que en el caso de los pa\u00edses en v\u00edas de desarrollo, el n\u00famero de esta p\u00e9rdida &#8220;ser\u00e1 de dos d\u00edgitos&#8221;, lo que -a su juicio- tendr\u00e1 un gran impacto en el bienestar de esos territorios.<br \/><br \/>&#8220;Por eso&#8221;, continu\u00f3 Okonjo-Iweala, &#8220;cuando me preguntan qu\u00e9 es lo que m\u00e1s me preocupa, o lo que m\u00e1s me ha preocupado, es que China y Estados Unidos sean responsables del comercio mundial&#8221;.<br \/><br \/>Aun as\u00ed, la economista africana se mostr\u00f3 aliviada con recientes declaraciones del presidente estadounidense, Donald Trump, en las que se mostr\u00f3 abierto a reducir &#8220;sustancialmente&#8221; los altos aranceles a las importaciones chinas.<br \/><br \/>&#8220;Vamos a ser muy amables, ellos tambi\u00e9n lo ser\u00e1n, y veremos qu\u00e9 sucede&#8221;, declar\u00f3 Trump a los periodistas -hace un par de d\u00edas- en una rueda de prensa en el Despacho Oval refiri\u00e9ndose al Gobierno chino.<br \/><br \/>&#8220;No ser\u00e1 tan alto, no ser\u00e1 tan alto&#8221;, avanz\u00f3 el mandatario republicano.<br \/><br \/>Actualmente, estos grav\u00e1menes se sit\u00faan en el 145 %, aunque en algunos productos pueden alcanzar el 245 % por acumulaci\u00f3n de tasas, seg\u00fan denunci\u00f3 Pek\u00edn la semana pasada, lo que posteriormente confirm\u00f3 la Casa Blanca.<\/p><p style=\"line-height: var(--wp--typography--line-height,
